This song is an unmastered, quick lil thank you gift to all my friends and patrons to my music. The source material is the Opening track from the Broadway Musical Sunday In the Park With George. Stephen Sondheim passed this year and although I was familiar with some of his material, I had never embarked on watching Sunday. I was absolutely exhilarated and thanks to a rec from a friend, I now have music and lyrics that feelresonant and healing for the themes I underwent in this year of loss and healing that I need to process. it is also an ode to his singular musicianship and I hope this Gen Z interpretation would do him proud. Also this has been such a tough year for everyone and I hope that the song can be uplifting for those who need it. Also fuck the CDC. Stay in for 10 days and get rest!
